Selecting the Select Operating Environment menu option available on the Standard Edition of the ProActive Security Audit Utility allows the specification of either Workstation or Server operating environment for the ProActive Security Audit Agent.
Note: The ability to select the operating environment is only available on the Standard Edition.
When the ProActive Security Audit Utility Standard Edition executes for the first time an initialization dialog will be presented allowing for the setting of the operating environment to either server or workstation, see the figure below explaining the operation of this dialog. Once an operating environment has been specified this initialization dialog will no longer be presented.
Note: Selection of the operating environment is only available in the Standard Edition and will not appear as a menu option for the Home Edition. The Home Edition always operates in Workststion mode and is not suitable for operation on a server.
